Sally’s sire died after siring only two small foal crops. In spite of an
injury which had prevented him from being shown, he had been selected by
Imperial Stud to replace his sire, Ibn Safinez.
Sally’s dam is a lovely, typey, fancy moving daughter of a multi-champion
halter and performance stallion. She is out of a mare who was a winning cutting
horse sired by a National Reserve Champion Stallion.
Sally is exquisite and elegant with a fantastically sweet and loving
temperament and a trot that has tremendous power and extension. It is rare to
see a horse of any breed that moves this well. Sally is Pyramid Futurity
nominated. Her strain is Saqlawiyah Jedriniyah Ibn Sudan with a Moniet El Nefous
tail female.
"Sally Ann" is now under saddle, still green but promises to be a calm, reliable mount. She is in foal to our wonderful Taher Sihr for May 2010.
